Description
AudioControl Hyperion APR-16 and Savoy G4 7-Channel High-Power Immersive AV System Bundle
A High-Power Separates System for the Most Demanding Home Cinema
The AudioControl Hyperion APR-16 and Savoy G4 bundle delivers a complete, high-power AV separates system combining a 16-channel reference AV processor with AudioControl’s flagship seven-channel Class H power amplifier for 7 active channels of 230 watts into 8 ohms or 300 watts into 4 ohms. This is a genuinely exceptional opportunity to build a high-end immersive home cinema separates system of considerable power and performance, pairing the Hyperion APR-16’s state-of-the-art 8K UHD video handling, ES9039Q SABRE DACs with 130dB dynamic range, and 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding with the Savoy G4’s award-winning Class H amplification and 600-watt bridged capability on select channels, all in one cohesive and professionally matched configuration.
AudioControl Hyperion APR-16: The Reference Processor
The Hyperion APR-16 is a 16-channel balanced output reference AV processor built for professional installers and the most demanding home cinema installations. Seven 8K UHD HDMI 2.1 inputs with HDCP 2.3, professional EDID and HDCP management, 16 balanced XLR and 16 unbalanced RCA outputs with full matrixing support, and Dirac ART, Live, and Bass Control compatibility with included calibration microphone provide a complete and uncompromising audio and video processing foundation. ES9039Q SABRE audiophile DACs delivering 130dB of dynamic range, a unique no-ribbon-cable internal design for an ultra-low noise floor, a built-in four-port network switch with Dante integration, a 7-inch front panel touchscreen, and a cloud-based web interface for remote management complete the specification of one of the most capable reference AV processors available in the professional residential market.
AudioControl Savoy G4: Seven Channels of Class H Power
The Savoy G4 is AudioControl’s flagship seven-channel Class H power amplifier, delivering 230 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 300 watts per channel into 4 ohms with all channels driven. Channels 1 and 2, as well as channels 6 and 7, are bridgeable to 600 watts into 8 ohms, providing exceptional power reserves for front left, right, and wide channel applications within a 7-channel immersive layout. AudioControl’s High Definition BiMOS output devices, a damping factor greater than 450, total harmonic distortion of 0.04% at full output, and a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 102dB (A-weighted) ensure that the Savoy G4 exploits the full sonic potential of the APR-16’s reference-grade processing. LightDrive anti-clipping protection, seven RCA unbalanced and seven XLR balanced inputs, and multi-mode operation across seven-channel, 5.1-channel, and five-channel configurations complete an amplifier of exceptional versatility and performance credentials.
A Complete High-Power Reference System
Together, the Hyperion APR-16 and Savoy G4 form a complete and cohesively matched reference home cinema system of genuine high-end performance. The APR-16’s 16 balanced XLR outputs connect directly to the Savoy G4’s seven balanced XLR inputs for a fully balanced signal path from processor to amplifier to loudspeaker, preserving the APR-16’s reference-grade DAC performance throughout. Both components are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA to AudioControl’s most exacting professional standards, and are backed by AudioControl’s warranty.
