The HAVEN Hi-Fi Shelf is designed to hold what plays your records — turntable, amplifier, streamer, or whatever your setup calls for. As the upper half of the HAVEN system, it stacks directly onto the HAVEN Bottom Unit to create a complete record storage and playback setup within a single footprint, in a single material, from a single design. No separate equipment rack. No mismatched wood. No second brand sitting beside the first. The entire hi-fi corner of the room becomes one considered object.
Sized for the Gear, Not for Convention
The 455mm internal width was chosen specifically for the equipment it is designed to accommodate. A full-size turntable fits cleanly, with the room a serious amplifier requires and nothing wasted on either side. This is a shelf whose dimensions were determined by the actual scale of hi-fi components rather than by furniture convention, and the difference is immediately apparent when the equipment is in place. A shelf spacing of 150mm provides comfortable clearance for the components above while keeping the overall profile low and proportional.
Walnut Engineered Veneer with Exposed Birch Edge
The HAVEN Hi-Fi Shelf is constructed from walnut engineered veneer over 18mm plywood, sharing the same material language as the HAVEN Bottom Unit so that the two pieces read as one object rather than a stack of separate furniture. The exposed birch plywood edge, a Bentolabs design signature, runs around every face of the shelf, honest about the construction beneath and entirely at home in the overall aesthetic. Whether stacked on a HAVEN Bottom Unit or standing alone as a low hi-fi shelf when records live elsewhere in the room, the HAVEN Hi-Fi Shelf brings the same considered design sensibility to any setup.
