Engineering Excellence…The Focal DNA
This coaxial loudspeaker has a new aluminium inverted dome adjustable tweeter, more compact, improving sound dispersion. It is also equipped with a new Polyglass cone (61/2” – 16.5 cm). A new crossover improves off-axis listening and avoids the “shower effect”.
Easy and Versatile Installation
Installation is an important criterion: the three mounting brackets with optimised grips ensure a quick and easy installation. The screw system prevents screws from falling out when dismantling the product. For the custom integrator on a large scale project, installation time is reduced to the bare minimum. The 100 Series products have a shallow mounting depth which greatly facilitates trouble-free installation. The 100ICW6 is extremely versatile thanks to a compact design with the speaker driver’s basket and chassis being constructed as a single piece. And both square and circular frameless, magnetic front grilles, are supplied for neat aesthetics in either ceilings or walls.
Perfect Acoustics
The 100ICW5, 100ICW6 and 100ICW8, 100IC6ST and ICLCR5 offer a three-position switch (-3dB, 0 dB, +3 dB) to adjust the treble performance according to the acoustic environment (reverberation on windows or on tiles for example).
Hi-Fi or Home Cinema
All the products from the 100 Series can be used to reinforce classic Hi-Fi systems, and are also ideal for those looking for a discrete, high-quality Home Cinema system.
Installation in Humid Environments
Topicalization is used on Polyglass membranes to allow installation in humid environments, such as Bathrooms and Alfresco entertainment zones.
