The Class A/B amplifier section delivers 150 W per channel into 8 ohms and remains stable with loudspeaker loads down to 2 ohms. This combination of power and stability allows the A200 to remain clean, composed and controlled with demanding loudspeakers and complex musical passages.

SoundEngine2 Technology

Hegel SoundEngine2 technology detects distortion as it occurs and cancels it before it can travel further through the signal path. This real time correction preserves clarity, musical detail and dynamic expression without compromising the integrity of the original signal.

Dedicated Moving Magnet Phono Stage

The integrated Moving Magnet phono input is based on the Moving Magnet section of the Hegel V10 phono stage. Hand matched FET transistor gain stages and carefully selected operational amplifiers deliver the low noise, precision and musicality required for high quality vinyl playback.

A high quality headphone output extends the performance of the A200 to personal listening. Connected analogue sources can be enjoyed through headphones while retaining the amplifier’s focus on clarity, control and musical engagement.
