Total harmonic distortion is held below 0.001% at 1kHz, while signal-to-noise ratio reaches greater than 116dB via RCA and greater than 120dB via XLR outputs. Maximum sampling frequency reaches 768kHz at 32-bit, with full DSD support up to DSD512 via PC USB, ensuring the TruStream is capable of resolving the finest detail from any high-resolution source with complete authority.

Analogue outputs are provided as both RCA and balanced XLR pairs, with the XLR outputs delivering up to 4.1Vrms for optimal compatibility with balanced preamplifiers and integrated amplifiers. Digital outputs include both coaxial and optical, as well as USB audio output, allowing the TruStream to serve as a transport for an external DAC if preferred. A headphone amplifier output with a load impedance range of 20 to 600 ohms and THD below 0.01% provides a capable and versatile headphone listening option directly from the unit itself. Connectivity is completed by Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi, a USB-C PC input, and two USB-A storage ports.
