Oscar Trio marked the launch of our new Oscar series—a defining moment where Marten’s renowned sound was reimagined through a fresh build. Chief designer Leif Olofsson engineered new technology to retain the sonic integrity we’re known for, while offering a more accessible entry point into high-end sound.
What You Get
Oscar Trio delivers a reasonably priced speaker that holds true to the Marten signature: rich, controlled, and musical. To achieve this, we created custom drivers and a completely new build that maintains clarity and natural tone. The result is the perfect balance of performance and value.
Custom Ceramic Drivers
Hard ceramic—also known as Sapphire—is light and rigid, ideal for speaker membranes. Our ceramic domes undergo a refined electrochemical process to achieve high internal damping and a high resonance frequency. This drastically reduces distortion and brings out crystal-clear detail, even at high dynamics.
Cabinet Design
The cabinet is minimalist and modern, with clean lines and no unnecessary elements. Designed for both strength and elegance, it blends seamlessly into any room. Optional magnetic covers allow for a sleek aesthetic without affecting acoustics.
Jorma Internal Wiring
We use Jorma Design internal wiring for its unmatched quality and performance. Handmade in Sweden, the wires are fully shielded and use high-grade copper to ensure transparent, neutral sound. These cables are integral to the performance of every Marten speaker.
Feet and Isolation
Marten Pucks and Cones—crafted from advanced thermoplastics—provide excellent stiffness and vibration control. These isolation feet enhance resonance control and support the speaker’s dynamic performance. A must-have for full sonic immersion.
Advanced Crossover Design
We use a second-order crossover for Oscar Trio to maintain high dynamics and accurate detail. With premium components like copper foil air core coils, silver/gold capacitors, and Supreme resistors, this crossover brings precision and warmth to the soundstage.
