Description
ATC SCM19 Passive Bookshelf Speakers | Black Ash
Super Linear Driver Engineering
The ATC SCM19 is the largest passive bookshelf loudspeaker in ATC’s Entry Series. It combines a 150mm SL bass and midrange driver, incorporating a substantial 75mm soft dome, with ATC’s 25mm soft dome tweeter in a curved cabinet. This listing is for the Black Ash veneer version.
Purpose Built for Music
The SCM19 uses a 9kg motor assembly with a short coil and long magnetic gap, together with a hand wound flat wire coil. Its high frequency unit includes a precision alloy waveguide, while the drivers are matched to within ±0.5dB. The emphasis is on controlled driver behaviour and consistent response across the listening area.
Partner with Quality Amplification
A passive design with an 8 ohm nominal impedance and a flat impedance curve, the SCM19 is designed to work with a separate power or integrated amplifier. ATC recommends amplification from 75 to 300 watts. Binding posts accept 4mm plugs and support biwiring.
