The AudioControl Director M6800 is a 16-channel multi-zone network matrix power amplifier that delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 200 watts per channel into 4 ohms with all channels driven, in a compact 2U rack-mountable form factor designed for high-performance whole-home and multi-zone audio installations where physical space is at a premium. Flexible Matrix Input Switching for Any Multi-Zone System
The M6800’s digital and analogue input matrix allows any zone to play any input source independently, with input assignment configured individually for each zone. Seven RCA unbalanced and seven XLR balanced analogue inputs are provided, alongside A and B digital inputs that are assignable to any zone, and A and B digital outputs assignable from any analogue or digital input. Analogue RCA loop-through outputs, DSP presets for a wide range of compatible loudspeaker brands, and signal sense operating independently for each zone complete a routing and switching architecture of exceptional flexibility for any multi-zone installation scenario.

The M6800’s signal processing capabilities support a wide variety of equalisation options and adjustments, with DSP presets available for a comprehensive range of compatible loudspeaker models from AudioControl’s partner brands including Origin Acoustics, Krix, Monitor Audio, Dynaudio, James Loudspeaker, Totem, Triad, Leon, and many others. Ethernet network control, a 12V master trigger compatible with both contact closure and external 12V sources, and stackability with other Director and Architect series models ensure the M6800 integrates naturally into any professionally installed multi-zone audio system. Removable rack ears and a lightweight construction facilitate straightforward installation in any rack environment.
