Solid 0.5% Silver Conductors
Forest Coax features solid 0.5% silver-plated Long-Grain Copper conductors. Because high-frequency digital signals travel primarily on the surface of the conductor, the silver layer enhances performance by improving signal integrity and noise dissipation. Solid conductors also minimise electrical and magnetic strand-to-strand interaction, helping reduce distortion and jitter.
Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation
Traditional shielding systems often drain captured radio-frequency interference directly to component ground, potentially modulating and distorting the system’s reference plane. AudioQuest’s Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation technology “shields the shield,” absorbing and reflecting most RF energy before it reaches the ground-connected layer. Hard-Cell Foam Insulation
