Forest USB features solid 0.5% silver-plated conductors applied over AudioQuest’s Long-Grain Copper (LGC). Because high-frequency digital signals travel primarily on the surface of the conductor, placing superior silver on the outer layer delivers meaningful performance gains. Solid conductors also minimise strand-interaction distortion, helping to reduce jitter and preserve signal integrity.
Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation
Traditional shielding systems often drain captured radio-frequency interference directly to component ground, potentially modulating and distorting the system’s reference plane.
