Description
Innuos STREAM1 Music Streamer and Server
The Digital Heart of Your System
The Innuos STREAM1 is an entry-level hi-fi music streamer and server that makes no compromises on functionality, and represents Innuos’ most versatile gateway product to date. Configurable in multiple ways thanks to modular storage and output options, the STREAM1 can serve as a fully loaded music player, a streaming transport, a storage server, or any combination of these roles. Whether you are a seasoned audiophile with a meticulously curated system or a listener seeking a simple but elegant solution, the STREAM1 is engineered to be the driving force behind your audio experience, with the flexibility to grow and evolve as your system develops.
Innuos Engineering: Hardware and Software in Perfect Harmony
At Innuos, both hardware and software are crafted in-house, with every detail fine-tuned for unmatched synergy. From precision clocking to advanced noise reduction through power supply architecture and customised firmware, every element is engineered to allow you to reconnect with your music. The STREAM1’s new Stream series mainboard uses 13th Generation Intel Quad-Core processing and 8GB of industrial-grade DDR5 RAM, delivering a fast and efficient platform that exceeds 200% faster processing than its predecessor. The operating system is carried on a dedicated TLC power-loss protected SSD featuring Real-Time Kernel technology trickled down from the ZEN Next-Generation series, ensuring a low-latency and highly responsive system at all times.
CX Power and Optional LPS1 Linear Power Supply
The STREAM1 benefits from Innuos’ CX Regulator, designed in collaboration with Dr Sean Jacobs, which supplies independent and low-noise power directly to the Output Module stage for a clear, rich, and precise audio signal. The system is powered as standard by an included medical-grade filtered switch-mode power supply, with a significant upgrade path available via the dedicated LPS1 linear power supply. The LPS1 features a 150VA toroidal transformer and premium Mundorf capacitors for even greater clarity in sound, and provides a second Nichicon-regulated DC output to power accessories such as external DACs and network switches.
Modular Output Options for Any System
The STREAM1’s modular output bay accommodates four optional output modules, allowing the unit to be configured precisely for the connected system and upgraded as requirements change. The StandardDAC Board adds RCA analogue output plus optical and coaxial SPDIF outputs supporting PCM up to 24-bit/192kHz. The PerformanceDAC Board features the latest AKM DAC chip, high-quality TCXO clocks, independent power supplies for digital and analogue stages, and supports PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and Native DSD up to DSD512. The PhoenixUSB Board regenerates and reclocks the USB signal to any Class 2 USB DAC using a high-precision 3ppb 24MHz OCXO clock and ultra-low noise LT3045 linear regulators. The SPDIF Board provides superior coaxial, optical, and AES outputs with an optimised power supply for ultra-low noise, supporting PCM up to 24-bit/192kHz.
Storage, Connectivity, and the Sense App
The STREAM1 accommodates one M2 NVMe SSD in its storage expansion bay, available with 2TB or 4TB of factory pre-fitted storage or user-installed. Three USB 3.2 ports and one USB-C port support DACs, imports, backups, and USB drive playback, with USB-C also enabling CD ripping via an external USB optical drive. Two 2.5Gb Ethernet ports with bridged streamer output provide super-fast wired network connectivity. The Innuos Sense app provides seamless access to Qobuz, TIDAL, Deezer, HighResAudio, IDAGIO, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Internet Radio, and podcasts, with full local library management, playlist creation, CD ripping, and Smart-Q functionality. Roon Core and Endpoint, HQPlayer NAA Endpoint, and AssetUPnP UPnP Server modes are all supported.
