CD Transport & High-Fidelity Digital-to-Analog Conversion
The D-N150 is equipped with the same high-performance CD transport as Luxman’s acclaimed D-380, ensuring precise and reliable disc playback. Carefully auditioned components—including a custom power transformer, high-quality filtering capacitors, Schottky barrier diodes, and Luxman’s own Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) wiring—enhance signal purity. At the heart of its digital conversion is the Texas Instruments PCM5102A DAC, delivering a remarkable 110 dB signal-to-noise ratio for an immersive, noise-free listening experience.
Versatile Digital Inputs with Bulk Pet® Transfer Technology
Beyond its exceptional CD playback, the D-N150 doubles as a high-resolution digital-to-analog converter, supporting external sources via:
- Coaxial (S/PDIF) input: Supports up to 192 kHz/24-bit audio.
- Optical (TOSLINK) input: Supports up to 192 kHz/24-bit audio.
- USB input: Accepts PCM signals up to 192 kHz/32-bit.
The D-N150 is Luxman’s first product to feature Bulk Pet® transfer technology, optimizing USB data transmission by reducing the processing load on the DAC. This innovation enhances playback stability and sound quality. Additionally, an optical output allows the D-N150 to function as a central DAC hub, providing even greater flexibility.
Premium Aluminum Remote Control
The included aluminum remote control provides a refined and ergonomic user experience. Designed with a solid, substantial feel, it allows for easy operation of both the D-N150 digital player and volume control on the matching SQ-N150 amplifier.
