Luxman D-03X: High-Performance Digital Decoding

The Luxman D-03X is designed to bring out the finest details in your music, revealing new nuances even in well-known recordings. Featuring MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology, this player delivers sound that faithfully reproduces the original master recording. It supports MQA-CDs and MQA audio files up to 24-bit via USB, optical, and coaxial inputs.

The USB input supports PCM data up to 384 kHz/32-bit and DSD up to 11.2 MHz, while the optical and coaxial inputs handle PCM signals up to 192 kHz/24-bit. Additionally, the USB input incorporates four modes of Bulk Pet* high-resolution audio file transfer, optimizing data transmission to reduce processing strain on both the host and device CPUs. This enhances playback stability and ultimately results in superior sound quality. All digital signals benefit from a high-precision, low-jitter, low-phase-noise master clock, ensuring accurate transmission with minimal noise.

The asymmetric mechanical layout places the CD drive to the left, optimizing signal flow, resonance control, and weight balance. A robust box chassis frame shields both the CD transport and sensitive circuitry from external vibrations and noise.

The analog circuit employs dual monaural digital-to-analog converters (DACs), with independent left and right channels, ensuring precise and detailed sound reproduction. The low-impedance low-pass filter amplifier further enhances signal integrity, delivering smooth, high-fidelity audio through fully balanced Neutrik XLR connectors or conventional RCA outputs.

The D-03X features an exceptionally stable CD transport mechanism, reinforced with a steel top plate, an 8mm-thick solid aluminum base, a shielded box sub-chassis, and a loop-less structure.
