Marantz MCR 60n Compact HiFi System (Champagne Gold)
The Marantz MCR 60n combines a CD player, network streaming, a stereo amplifier and an MM phono stage in a compact music system. Add your choice of speakers, then connect the sources you already enjoy, from records and CDs to streaming services and television audio. This listing is for the Champagne Gold finish. Marantz tuning and high-resolution playback
An upgraded digital-to-analogue converter and Marantz Sound Master tuning sit at the heart of the MCR 60n. It delivers 65 watts per channel into 4 ohms and supports high-resolution PCM files up to 384kHz/32-bit, alongside DSD playback up to 11.2MHz. Compatible FLAC, WAV and DSD files can play without gaps between tracks.
CDs, records and your own music library
The integrated disc player handles audio CDs and compatible CD-R/RW discs, including MP3 and WMA files. A turntable fitted with a moving-magnet cartridge connects to the dedicated phono input. Low-output moving-coil cartridges require additional suitable amplification. For stored music, use the rear USB-A connection or access a compatible computer or NAS library over your home network.
Streaming throughout your home
HEOS brings streaming services, internet radio and personal music collections into one app. Browse your library, queue music and control playback from your phone or tablet. With other HEOS-enabled products, you can group rooms to play the same music together or choose different music for different spaces.
AirPlay 2, Bluetooth and Spotify Connect provide further ways to listen. Services supported by HEOS include TIDAL, Deezer and Amazon Music, with availability and subscriptions varying by service and region. Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections let you choose how the receiver joins your home network.
Television audio through your HiFi speakers
HDMI eARC/ARC connects a compatible television to the MCR 60n, so films, programmes and games play through your stereo system. Compatible TV remote control support keeps everyday operation straightforward. An optical digital input and an analogue line input provide connections for additional sources.
Flexible speaker and headphone connections
Speaker A and B outputs support two speaker pairs with individual volume control. The amplifier can also be configured for bi-amping compatible speakers or Parallel BTL operation with one pair. A subwoofer pre-out allows a powered subwoofer to be added. For personal listening, choose the headphone socket or Bluetooth headphone transmission.
Optional Dirac Live room correction
The MCR 60n supports a paid Dirac Live Room Correction upgrade. Using room measurements, Dirac adjusts the signal to account for the effect of the speakers and listening space on the sound. The applicable licence must be purchased separately; it is not included in the receiver price.
Compact design and everyday controls
A three-line OLED display, selectable front status lighting and the supplied remote keep the controls accessible. Smart Select functions, bass, treble and balance adjustment, a clock, sleep timer and programmable timer support everyday use. The cabinet measures 280mm wide, 303mm deep and 111mm high.
