A Special Anniversary Finish
The curved cabinet and handcrafted composite wood grille bring a tactile, furniture inspired character to the R1S. Terracotta adds a rich splash of colour, while the dark grille and anniversary badge distinguish this limited edition from the standard range. The familiar RotoDial controller and colour display complete the design.

Explore stations from around the world with internet radio, enjoy local broadcasts through DAB, DAB+ and FM, or discover something new using the dedicated podcast source. The RotoDial controller makes searching and navigating straightforward.
Wi-Fi streaming supports Spotify Connect, Amazon Music and Deezer. Bluetooth 5 lets you play audio from a compatible phone or tablet, with the receiver remembering up to six devices for convenient reconnection.

A dynamic linear amplifier and Ruark’s NS+ loudspeaker work together in an optimised enclosure to deliver clear, natural sound. Adaptive equalisation helps maintain a balanced presentation at different listening levels, making the R1S equally suited to background music or a closer listen to a favourite programme.
Designed for Everyday Listening
The full colour TFT screen clearly shows the clock, alarms and programme information, with album and station artwork on supported streamed sources. An ambient light sensor adjusts the brightness automatically, keeping the display comfortable to use in a bedroom or living space.
A USB-C port provides device charging and MP3 playback, while the headphone output offers private listening. A switchable line input connects an additional audio source. A compact remote control is available separately.
