Suggested Sonus faber Pairings
These are starting points for a system consultation, not selectable options or fixed bundle prices. Walnut finishes are shown. We can discuss the speaker finish, positioning, source components and any stands or cables needed for your room. Speakers, stands and other accessories shown are additional.
MA5300 with Sonetto III G2
Sonetto III G2 offers a relatively slim floorstanding starting point in the Sonetto collection. The curved wood cabinet, DAD tweeter and concrete base give it a distinct identity beside the McIntosh unit. This is a useful comparison with the larger Sonetto V and VIII when floor space and speaker positioning are important.
MA5300 with Sonetto V G2
Sonetto V G2 moves to a three way floorstanding layout with a dedicated Camelia midrange driver and twin bass drivers. Its cork midrange chamber is derived from technology developed for Suprema. Consider this pairing when you want to explore a larger Sonetto system, with our team helping you assess room size, sources and placement.
MA5300 with Sonetto VIII G2
The largest Sonetto G2 floorstander uses a three way layout with a Camelia midrange and two 8 inch woofers. Its dedicated cork chamber and substantial concrete base are key parts of the design. This pairing is worth discussing where the room allows larger cabinets and you want to compare the full scale of the Sonetto range.
MA5300 with Concertino G4
Concertino G4 is a compact two way speaker with solid walnut side panels, a cork enclosure and plant based covering. A DAD tweeter and 5.25 inch midwoofer sit within its distinctive trapezoidal cabinet. This pairing puts a smaller speaker and traditional materials alongside the McIntosh unit, with suitable stands and placement discussed separately.
