HybridDigital Amplifier Technology
The C 338 employs NAD’s HybridDigital technology, an innovative Class D amplifier design that uses a variable modulation frequency to bring out the lifelike qualities of music while reducing distortion under every operating condition. Built around a customised Hypex UCD output stage, the C 338 delivers 50 watts continuously and over 200 watts instantaneously to meet the demands of the most dynamic musical material. This highly optimised design is exceptionally linear over a wide bandwidth, providing consistent, noise-free performance with near-perfect voltage regulation and a damping factor greater than 300. THD is held below 0.03% across the full 20Hz to 20kHz audio band, ensuring a clean and musically engaging presentation through any loudspeaker.
