Pure Disc Playback
The McIntosh MCD350 is a dedicated two channel player designed to deliver refined playback from SACDs and CDs. Its precision transport, balanced digital conversion and flexible outputs make it an accomplished source for a premium music system.
Balanced Digital Conversion
A balanced two channel 32 bit and 192 kHz digital to analogue converter processes music with clarity and precision. This carefully engineered conversion stage allows the information stored on SACDs and CDs to be reproduced through the connected audio system.
Flexible Analogue Outputs
Fixed stereo outputs are provided in both balanced and unbalanced formats. These connections allow the MCD350 to be partnered with a compatible preamplifier, integrated amplifier or other analogue audio component.
External Digital Conversion
Coaxial and optical digital outputs allow the audio signal to be sent to an external digital to analogue converter, preamplifier or home cinema processor. The analogue connections and coaxial digital output are gold plated for corrosion resistance.
Precision Disc Transport
Discs are read at twice normal speed within a rigid aluminium die cast tray. The data is stored in buffer memory to improve error correction and tracking during playback.
Twin Laser Optical Pickup
A twin laser optical pickup uses one objective lens with two separate laser units. Each laser operates at a wavelength optimised specifically for SACD or CD playback.
Classic McIntosh Design
A black glass front panel, illuminated McIntosh logo and aluminium end caps give the MCD350 the distinctive appearance associated with McIntosh components.
