Integrated McIntosh Engineering
The MTI100 brings together a turntable, vacuum tube preamplifier, shielded phono preamplifier and Class D power amplifier within one component. Its extensive connectivity allows it to become the centre of a modern home audio system without requiring a large collection of separate electronics.
Precision Vinyl Playback
The belt drive turntable plays records at 33 one third and 45 rpm using manual speed selection. An industrial grade permanent magnet AC synchronous motor with a two speed pulley synchronises the platter speed with the power line frequency for accurate rotation.
Machined Aluminium Construction
A 3.18 kg machined aluminium platter and matching aluminium tonearm with anti skate are mounted above a 9.5 mm glass panel and a 6.35 mm metal plate. This substantial construction provides stability while helping to absorb noise caused by external vibration.
Sumiko Olympia Cartridge
The MTI100 includes a Sumiko Olympia Moving Magnet cartridge. Its upgraded stylus and cantilever assembly are designed to provide improved frequency response and greater dynamic impact from vinyl records.
Vacuum Tube Preamplification
Two 12AX7 vacuum tubes power the main preamplifier section. The dedicated phono preamplifier is housed within a custom shielding enclosure to prevent interference and noise from entering the vinyl signal.
Integrated Power Amplification
The Class D amplifier delivers 50 W per channel into 8 ohms or 80 W per channel into 4 ohms. Rear panel speaker binding posts provide a direct connection to the Concertino G4 speakers.
