The Furman BATT1500-EXT is an external battery pack designed specifically for use with the Furman F1500-UPS uninterruptible power supply, extending its battery runtime by up to four times through plug-and-play DC connectors that make installation straightforward and tool-free. For installations where standard F1500-UPS runtime is insufficient for the connected load or the duration of typical power interruptions in the installation environment, the BATT1500-EXT provides a direct and seamlessly integrated solution that expands the F1500-UPS’s capability without any modification to the existing system.
Eight 12V 9Ah Batteries in a Dual-String Configuration
The BATT1500-EXT houses eight 12-volt 9Ah batteries connected in two strings of four cells in series, providing the voltage and capacity required to deliver up to four times the standard F1500-UPS runtime to the connected system. This dual-string configuration maximises both the energy storage capacity and the reliability of the battery pack, ensuring consistent and dependable backup power delivery across the full range of connected load conditions.
